Sturdily potted rising from a short circular foot, the body rotund tapering at the neck with an everted lip, topped with a lid, the spout in the form of a sprouting bamboo stalk, the handle rises high above the body and the lid. Decorated with designs of a flying phoenix amongst floral sprays and flowering chrysanthemums in underglaze cobalt blue.
