Takana Mitsuo was born in Wajima, Ishikawa in 1956
Graduated from Wajima Lacquer Art Institute, Ishikawa Prefecture in 1981
In 1982, he was selected for the Ishikawa Prefecture Contemporary Art Exhibition for the first time at 『Cave』Since then, he has exhibited his work at many exhibitions. He has won numerous prestigious awards including the Nitten Exhibition and the Crafts and Art Exhibition. His works of art are housed in numerous museums and temples.
