Cizhou Ware Floral Dish

This cizhou ware floral dish is of a generous size and has been potted with a shallow base and slightly everted lip. The dish has been covered in a dark cream slip which has been finished with a glossy transparent glaze. The olive-brown painted design on the interior base features a central flower, simplistic in form, encircled by two large floral sprays.
