Large Longquan Celadon Lotus Dish

Porcelain with Celadon Glaze.
14th Century
Longquan kilns, Zhejiang, South China.

Robustly potted, the centre is crisply incised with two flowering lotus stems and leaves encircled by a wide band of flowerheads and scrolling foliage, covered overall with a lustrous olive-green glaze.
