Decorated in underglaze cobalt blue the four-sided bottle with a domed shoulder and a ribbed, cylindrical neck that resembles the scoring of a screw top. The Vessel depicts alternative floral scenes of chrysanthemums and flowering peonies amongst rocks and flying insects. The base is left unglazed to expose its porcelaneous body.
