H:7cm x W:9cm
This petite jar has a generous spherical shape and a tall, slightly flaring mouth and low base. The jar is covered in a milky pale turquoise glaze which gives the miniature piece a beautifully delicate and tender appearance.
Choseon porcelain wares were highly sought after across East Asia. These wares were praised for their quality and beauty. Some featured very intricate designs and inlay patterns, but others were left plain, letting their elegant forms and high-quality glazes speak for themselves.
