The shallow dish is finely carved with a central flowering lotus amongst stamped circular lotus seeds, covered with an olive-green glaze pooling at the recesses, stopping mid-way on the reverse to expose its clay body.
• A similar ‘Xiangzhou’ dish exhibiting the lotus pattern was sold in Christies, HK on the 31st May 2017.
