Cizhou-type Black Glazed Jar

The Cizhou jar sturdily potted with a broad, high-shouldered body freely painted in a dark brown slip with a floral design, covered in a lustrous blackish brown glaze covering the body. The footrim flat and circular is left unglazed exposing the buff clay body.
